Buy Signal ABT

ABT looks poised to continue its bullish trend that began earlier this month.

OT 2017 Trending Strategy

Abbott announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration gave ABT the go ahead to release a new ventricular assist system, which is a big leap forward for folks with advanced heart disease. This news helped propel ABT to a solid gain of 1.66% for the session.

But not only did ABT receive some great fundamental news, it also looks like a great technical trending move. Its current trend developed earlier this month and is now coming off of a higher low which formed along the 12 EMA. It is trading above several major moving averages which tell us that ABT is still in a bullish mode. Volume is also on the rise. If this trend continues, we could see ABT making its way back into the $51 zone to test resistance once again.
